Nesting


         The inclination is to believe in words.  That which is said, however, is more often not done.  And shocking though it might sound, I too am very guilty.  But at least this way I can be confident in an idea of interests supported by words, rather than of actions supported by words. And here the better definition is probably somewhere in the word 'explanation'.  

        Easier of course to address the matter in an entirely mechanical way.  "If I do A," then "B happens."  In which case there's no need for explanation, because a person just does as he's told.  Sadly with us people 'explanation' and 'deceit' are often aligned in what I would guess is a necessary conspiracy, and which I reckon makes sense to call 'power.'
