At Will



     The Doctrine of At Will Employment does away with the idea of a contract between an employer and an employee. Which is fine, so long as there is a politics or a religion that can muster the strength to at least consider the phrase 'obligation to something else.'

     Otherwise, an employer looks at his balance sheet and thinks, "God damn it, a one armed person could do this job and I'd save on gloves."   And pretty soon we're all going for the surgery.
